My thoughts:
This one was a nice surprise! Its very interesting in where the visuals lines more up with the movie (which was different than the graphic novel) but the story is lined up with the original graphic novel. This story touched on terms that are never usually touched in this medium (let me say it like this) after viewing the first 15 minutes I had to pause the show just so I could look up who made the show! To my shock the story was written by a white guy and after doing a little investigating I saw that he put together a very diverse writer's room to help make sure that the story was authentic and it was, impressively so! This is a very corky show in many ways and its very adult but it hit enough things the right way to make you overlook a lot of the weirdness. Black heroes, well developed, nuff said! Betta check it out!
